The Best Travel Leggings of 2019

Whenever I travel, leggings are a must. They’re the perfect travel-day outfit, especially when paired with a baggy sweater or long shirt, for a chic but comfortable look. There’s so much to love about a good pair of travel leggings. They’re slimming, they stretch, and they don’t take up tons of room in your suitcase. Plus, should you feel the need to utilize the hotel gym or join a pop-up yoga class, you’ll be ready for a workout.

Travel Leggings to Pick up Before Your Next Trip

There are lots of different leggings styles to suit every kind of traveler in every situation, but here are our stand-out favorite travel leggings.

Outdoor Voices 2-Tone Warmup Leggings

With so many wild patterns available for leggings, it’s refreshing to see a pair that blends together unique design and sophistication like these two-toned leggings from Outdoor Voices. With blocks of navy and black, these leggings are chic while still maintaining an athletic look, which makes them great for the airplane or a jogging trail. The material is sturdy, comfortable, and opaque, so you won’t have to worry about anything showing through.

Pajama Leggings

If you’ve got a long-haul flight ahead of you, one of the best ways to fall asleep is to wear something comfortable. Because baggy pajamas have a habit of picking up whatever debris they drag across, soft leggings that cling make for better in-flight pajamas. These super-comfortable leggings with ultra-soft fabric will make your next flight much more bearable. They will also take up less space in your carry-on, so you can change into them after you’re already settled on your flight.

Columbia Women’s Luminary Legging

Up for some serious adventure or maybe just a day hike? Skip the hiking pants and pack these travel leggings instead. Sturdier than the average yoga pants, these leggings perform surprisingly well in the great outdoors. Made of moisture-wicking and snag-resistant fabric, these travel leggings are smooth to the touch and even include a large pocket on the side. A great feature is the wide and comfortable waistband, which holds up well when taking on rigorous climbs.

Fabletics Salar Leggings

Great for tough travel days, the Salar Leggings from Fabletics are made of a thick and comfortable material that will hold up to anything and keep you warm on a chilly flight. I love that it’s available in a range of patterns, from standard black and psychedelic purple to a sophisticated and subtle floral print.

Betabrand Dress Pant Yoga Pants

If you want to make sure you’re maintaining a little class while staying comfortable on your flight, check out the Dress Pant Yoga Pants from Betabrand. Made of comfortable, stretchable material, they’re totally chic. I love that they come in multiple colors and are perfect for a business-casual look.

Eco-Friendly Teeki Leggings

If you’re looking to be more environmentally conscious, teeki leggings might be for you. Teeki leggings are made of recycled plastic water bottles and sewn by hand. They’re available in a lot of fun and funky prints to express yourself, as well as solid black.

Palazzo Leggings

Want to travel with a little more flair? Check out these high-waist lounge pants for a fashionably daring set of pants that are just as comfortable and flattering as any pair of leggings. They’re affordable and fabulous for flying.

Elephant Joggers

If you’re looking for a set of leggings that aren’t so tight but also won’t drag on the floor, take a look at these elephant-print joggers. With a comfortable waistband and soft breathable fabric, these will make your flight a whole lot cozier.
