Hard on the heels of its sale on domestic award flights, United is discounting award travel to Asia as well.

Offer Details

Through August 22, MileagePlus members can save 25 percent when booking coach-class awards for roundtrip travel to Asia between August 29, 2016, and April 30, 2017, as follows:

Flights between the U.S. and Canada to North Asia – discounted from 70,000 miles to 52,224 miles roundtrip
Flights between the U.S. and Canada to South Asia – discounted from 80,000 miles to 62,224 miles roundtrip

The discounts do not apply to one-way trips, for Hawaii-originating travel, or for travel between December 9, 2016, and February 3, 2017.

Deal or No Deal

As does United’s domestic sale, this award sale features solid discounts, with a travel period totaling around six months.

The only negative: the close-in deadline to book at the discounted rates.
