Spring is in the air, vaccines are here, and we’re ready to kick off our house slippers for something a little more stylish (but equally comfortable). Rothy’s just read our minds, and launched their best new collection yet—a line of lightweight sandals and bags, both made from their infamously soft and comfortable 3D knit fabric.
Like the rest of Rothy’s collections, the new summer line is 100 percent sustainably made from discarded plastic water bottles and marine plastics, which are recycled and spun into ultra-soft yarn that molds to your feet (and is machine-washable).
Rothy’s New Shoes
In the latest drop, Rothy’s is launching a new sandal design, as well as new prints/colors for some old favorite styles.
Our favorite pick is the brand-new wrap sandal, a two-strap, wrap-around gladiator-esque sandal that’s the perfect slightly-dressy, ultra-comfortable, flat sandal for spring and summer. The wrap style gives you a perfectly adjustable fit, and the soft material won’t rub or cause blisters like similar styles.
The Knot sandal is launching in three new colors (jungle, hibiscus, and taupe), adding to the dilemma of which color you should get.
Want to add something fun to your wardrobe? The classic Point and Flat styles are getting upgraded on April 20th to some seriously pretty prints (love the floral) made from floating stitches that give the shoes an embroidered look.
Rothy’s New Bags
No need to confine Rothy’s cushy fabric to your feet—Rothy’s is releasing two new bag styles that are practically made for travel. The Rope Tote is an extra-roomy bag with a beachy rope tie closure that’s the ideal size for a personal item (or a beach bag).
For something smaller, the Pail makes for the perfect everyday bucket-style bag, and still holds everything you could need (and more).
Considering how dirty our backpacks and purses get, we love that Rothy’s bags are all completely machine-washable.
