is an extension of its current promotion, which was highly rated for simplicity but offered mediocre value.

Between September 1 and December 31, Hilton HHonors members can earn double points for every stay at every hotel in the HHonors portfolio.

Deal or No Deal
Bonus points for all stays at all hotels. No need to check whether a particular hotel is offering the bonus on a particular night. Simple and straightforward. Nice.
Not so nice is the bonus itself: double points. That may be just enough to keep Hilton loyalists from defecting to other brands. But it won't be enough to change the booking behavior of travelers whose allegiance lies elsewhere or who base their purchase decisions solely on value.
