As rewards credit cards go, the
Hyatt Visa card
doesn't as a rule have much to recommend it beyond its link to Hyatt's Gold Passport program. This rebate may be the exception to that rule.
Offer Details
Hyatt Visa cardholders who spend at least $500 at Hyatt Regency hotels in the U.S., between September 26 and December 31, will receive a $50 statement credit.

The rebate may only be earned once during the promotion period.
Registration is required, and must be completed by October 31.
Deal or No Deal
A $50 rebate on a $500 purchase amounts to a 10 percent discount. In and of itself, that's nice but probably not a game-changer. However, when combined with
Hyatt's member-only rates
and Gold Passport bonus points, the overall value proposition improves appreciably.
Certainly any Gold Passport member who already holds the affiliated credit card and plans to stay at a U.S. Hyatt Regency before the end of the year should register for this promotion.
