Of all the major hotel chains, Best Western has routinely been among the least generous with its loyalty-program promotions.
This new offer, for bonus airline miles, is a welcome exception.
Through July 2, Best Western Rewards members who opt to earn airline miles for their stays can earn 750 bonus American AAdvantage miles for every qualifying stay.
Best Western Rewards members who choose to earn AAdvantage miles normally earn 250 miles per stay, so with the bonus, they will earn 1,000 miles for every stay.
Registration is required.
Deal or No Deal
AAdvantage miles are worth around 1.5 cents apiece when redeemed for travel. So with this offer, travelers can earn $15 worth of miles for every stay. Assuming a one-night stay costing $100 or less, that means an effective rebate of at least 15 percent.
Value-wise, that’s definitely a cut above recent Best Western promotions.
