Alaska Air's New Double-Miles Promotion Is a Winner

The days of systemwide airline mileage bonuses are mostly long gone. Today, airlines are more focused in their marketing efforts, limiting bonus miles to new routes and existing routes that are operating with an excess of empty seats.

This upcoming Alaska Airlines promotion isn't quite a systemwide bonus, but it does cover around 50 routes to and from the airline's west coast hubs and focus cities.
