If you live within driving distance of Boston Logan's airport, you may be in luck the next time you search for a cheap flight out of town. A ton of new airlines and routes have landed here lately, meaning flyers will have more choices, more fare wars, and more direct flights.

Qatar Airways just launched daily, non-stop service between Boston and Doha on their new Airbus A350 jets. If you're heading to the Middle East (or further afield), Qatar will be a great option, with over 150 different routes giving you plenty of choices.

Plenty of low-cost carriers have entered Logan as well, meaning you'll be able to score international flights. The

    Boston Globe

reports: "Massport will increase the number of low-cost carriers flying out of Logan International Airport this spring, and by May, the airport will be home to more no-frills trans-Atlantic flights than any other US airport, officials said."

I've already seen the impact of discount airlines like WOW air and Norwegian on Boston rates, with fares going lower for flights to Europe and the Caribbean, and can't wait to see what new companies will arrive next.
