Well, this makes me feel safer (part deux)

    First it was

drug-smuggling sky marshals and drunk pilots

. Today it's the apparent failure of security screeners in 21 airports to detect bomb-making materials during a federal investigation. Is just me or are we no safer today than we were in 2001?

"In all 21 airports tested, no machine, no swab, no screener anywhere stopped the bomb materials from getting through," says a

    report

    on MSNBC's website.

The Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) response? "Detecting explosive materials and IEDs at the checkpoint is TSA's top priority."

Uh-huh. You might want to get right on that then.
