We guess these first-class passengers are used to living large—extra large. The Herald Sun reports that two Qantas Airline passengers threw a fit because their flight didn’t have any extra-large pajamas for them to wear during the journey from Los Angeles to Melbourne. The Australian couple was reportedly offered business-class pajamas, but that didn’t placate them—and they opted to leave the plane instead, causing a delay.
Ever feel like the border official is a bit robotic? Well, at a boarder checkpoint in Nogales, Arizona, the agent asking you questions will be a machine—nicknamed Elvis. CNN reports that the avatar asks questions to boarder crossers and evaluates physical signs to see if the person is telling the truth. The avatar is still being tested, and it’s voluntary to be screened by it instead of a human, but it is intended to expedite the boarder crossing process.
And finally, apartment owners who used Airbnb to rent out their Swedish home were in for a shock when they returned. Gadling reports that the women who rented out the apartment had allegedly been using the home as a brothel. The owners came back to a find used condoms, pubic hair, and a note from the police letting them know that their home had been raided. Airbnb is putting the homeowners up in a fancy hotel and having their apartment professionally cleaned.
