Want to Bounce on the World’s Largest Underground Trampoline?

SmarterTravel

This Fourth of July, forget fireworks and cookouts, and head over to Wales, where the world’s largest underground trampoline is set to open.

The trampoline installation is called Bounce Below, and is deep underground in a giant, 100 x 60 foot slate cavern in North Wales. Bounce Below is actually made up of three trampolines (mounted at various heights), and linked together by 60 ft. slides. There’s over a half a mile of trampoline net to play on.

Don special overalls and a helmet, and then hit the trampoline—you can bounce as high as you dare (in some spots, you can get up to 80 feet above the ground!) Up to 100 people can use the massive trampolines at one time.

Worried about bouncing in the dark? The cave is fitted with LED colored lights, which lend an even more fun feel to the trampolining. Sean Taylor, the commercial director of Bounce Below said, “The surreal experience of Bounce Below cannot be matched as there’s nothing like it anywhere else on earth. It’s essentially a ginormous underground playground and an amazing way to experience a subterranean world in a way never before possible. The best thing is you can do it all year round.”

Best of all, the introductory admission price to Bounce Below is only 15 GBP (around $25.50 according to current exchange rates at XE.com)

If the trampoline’s not enough of an adrenaline rush for you, the world’s largest zip-line area is located above the cave, so you can soar above and below the ground.
