Explore Interesting Art & History Museums
In addition to historical and culinary tours, you may also enjoy perusing Vienna’s multiple museums. The strange building of “Haus des Meeres” used to be an air-raid-shelter during World War II; after the war, they built various aquariums inside. Outside of the tower you may practice climbing up the walls and next door is also a “Museum of Torture.” In Berggasse 19, you may also visit Dr. Sigmund Freud’s medical practice. In 1971 the rooms of the former practice were turned into a museum, with plenty of private belongings, pictures and furniture.
