Pack light for Vienna. These tips will help you decide what's important.
Bring a thermal undershirt if you're traveling in cold weather - it'll keep you warm and save you from having to wear layers of clothing. Also, bring at least five pairs of socks and a two to three sweaters. Don't forget two pairs of gloves and a warm head gear like a woolen hat. You don't need to bring too many clothes as you're not likely to perspire much. Just bring clothes good enough for one week. Regular laundry will do the trick.
Weather is usually nice in summer, so just bring light clothing, but bring a light jacket in case it rains or is cool.
Bring nice clothing if you plan on attending any clssical music concerts, operas or receptions - business casual at the very least, but evening wear is recommended.
