  • Nightlife in Venice: Other Nightclubs and Discos

  • Venice is known for many things, from romance to history, from art to culture. While it doesn't have the same, energetic bars and clubs that many other European cities can boast, there is still a unique nightlife in Venice.

  • Club Piccolo

  • In Venice, there is a vast difference between day and night. During the day, the streets are lined with tourists. After a certain hour, the city shuts down, and it is at night that you see the real Venice, which is most charming as a walking city. As tourists wander, they often seek out a bar or disco where they can dance and have some drinks. These are not common in Venice, but there are a few.

Club Piccolo is one example of a place that offers a DJ and dancing until the early hours of the morning. Be warned that drinks are extremely expensive.

  • Bacaro Jazz

  • For a small, casual bar with Sangria, some travelers have enjoyed the Bacaro Jazz. This place doesn't get very crowded; it isn't a location for socializing with everyone in town. Rather, this is a laid back place to enjoy some drinks and tunes into the evening.

  • Raging Pub

  • Raging Pub is a trendy and upbeat pub-style bar in the heart of Venice's nightlife scene: Campo Santa Margherita. This pub provides a laid back yet lively atmosphere with beer and spirits. People come there to relax and meet other travelers from all over the world.
