Located 20 minutes from downtown Savannah is this breathtaking tree tunnel of live oaks and draping Spanish moss leading to a colonial estate. Take a guided tour or explore the museum, nature trails, gravesites, and Tabby Ruins. Tours are offered daily at Wormsloe Historic Site.

Just north of Johannesburg, the South African capital of Pretoria is famous for its thousands of Jacaranda trees throughout the city. October is the best time to see these trees in full bloom. Visitors should note that Bosman and Cilliers Streets are the best for tree tunnels, as well as the neighborhoods of Arcadia, Sunnyside, and Brooklyn.
You might recognize these beech trees from Game of Thrones as the Kings Road in season two. The twisted trunks are a popular tourist attraction, with sunrise and sunset being the two best times to go. If you visit, you can park at the Hedges Hotel, about a two-minute walk away.

Located along an industrial railway between Kleban and Orzhiv is the famous green archway known as the Tunnel of Love. The best time to visit for peak greenness is in the spring and summer, but fall foliage also lends itself nicely to the naturally formed train tunnel.
Sakura, or cherry blossom season, brings tree tunnels all over Japan, but the one over the Meguro Canal is particularly gorgeous. Visit at sunset when the river illuminates the pink and white blossoms, making for an even more stunning photo. Along the riverbank, you’ll also find shops and stalls.

This tree-lined path in Regent’s Park is picturesque at any time of year but is particularly beautiful in the fall when the foliage sets in. In spring, the trees are a deep green.
The Monterey cypress tree tunnel at Point Reyes National Seashore dates back to the 1930s. Visit at sunset and you can catch the sun’s rays turning the tree trunks red. You’ll find this iconic tree tunnel on the Point Reyes Peninsula, north of San Francisco.

At Ashikaga Flower Park in Japan, a giant wisteria tree showers visitors with its purple flowers each April and May. The park is also home to incredible blooms year-round, like tulips, tropical water lilies, and hydrangeas.
