Date of Trip: March 2015
I knew nothing about Toronto prior to taking a road trip with some friends this past March. All I knew is that they were big on hockey and I could get to see Niagara Falls. But Toronto exceeded my expectations. It’s a very diverse city that encompasses various neighborhoods like China Town, Korea Town, Little Portugal, Little Brazil and so on.
The food scene is amazing in these places and pretty affordable. The city definitely has a lot of culture which you can find in Kensington Market. There is also beautiful street art near the market so that’s a must-do. In terms of nightlife, Toronto is where it’s at!
We went out on a Sunday and the club was pretty packed. If you’re not into clubs there are also lots of cool bars throughout the city. The diversity and cultural richness of Toronto definitely makes for an interesting trip!
