This week, I put my sleuthing skills to the test to bring you the very best discounts currently on the market. The deals include popular destinations like Ireland, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Las Vegas, New York, and the Caribbean. Many expire soon, so act fast.

Top Five Vacation Deals

Expedia is offering discounts at locations all over the U.S. for the upcoming Labor Day weekend. Packages start at $179 per person (without taxes and fees), and include three nights’ accommodations and round-trip airfare. Destinations include San Francisco, New York, Las Vegas, Orlando, New Orleans, and many more.

CheapCaribbean is celebrating going back to school with deals to resorts listed in each destination’s top 10 readers’ favorites by SmarterTravel’s sister site, TripAdvisor. Packages with air start at $289 per person (without taxes and fees) to destinations like Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Mexico. Plus, packages include weather insurance and a $100 coupon if it rains.

Pleasant Holidays has packages to Mexico starting at $259 per person (without taxes and fees), which include round-trip airfare to Los Cabos from Los Angeles, three nights’ accommodations, and all hotel taxes and fees. Other departure and arrival cities are available at a higher price. Three-night packages to Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, the Riviera Maya, Ixtapa, and Huatulco are also available starting at $299. Perks like a free rental car come with packages to Cancun and the Riviera Maya. Plus, activity discounts are offered with stays in Puerto Vallarta. Travel is valid between September 14 and October 12.

If you’ve wanted to visit the Emerald Isle, there’s no better time to book than now, especially with go-today.com’s Ireland Fly and Drive deal. The package starts at $389 per person (without taxes and fees) for travel in November, and includes round-trip airfare from New York City to Shannon, a seven-day car rental with unlimited mileage, local taxes, and airline fuel surcharges. Other departure and arrival cities are available at a higher price.

JetBlue is offering a deal that makes it truly affordable to be a jet-setter. For $599 (including taxes and fees, except for travel to Puerto Rico or international destinations), the All-You-Can-Jet Pass features unlimited travel between September 8 and October 8 to any of the airline’s 57 destinations. The deal is available to members of TrueBlue, JetBlue’s frequent flyer program, and must be booked by August 21.
