Tips on Avoiding Malaga Tourist Traps

Malaga Tourist Traps

If you want to avoid tourist traps in Magala, you’ll need to know what to avoid. You’ll also need to know the best places to visit while you are there.

What to Avoid

The biggest tourist trap in Magala seems to be getting transportation from the airport. Taking the train is less expensive than a taxi service, but you may have a difficult time getting a ticket. You can ride the train without a ticket, but if you run into a ticket inspector, they will make you get off at the next stop. If you decide to prepay for a taxi in the name of convenience, double check that the correct taxi is picking you up. Some tourists have prepaid for a taxi, had a different company pick them up, and been charged by both companies for the service. Sun Transfers is a highly recommended taxi company, and probably your best bet for airport transportation. You’ll find horse drawn carriage rides offered in Magala. The prices for these rides are very high. Unless a carriage ride is on your bucket list, you are better off walking. Parking can be difficult to find in Magala, and it is hard to know where you are allowed to park. You can park in underground garages, but it is usually easier to take public transportation. Just be sure to know a few travel words in Spanish.

What to Do

If you’d like to see the beaches, go to Pedregalejo and El Palo. These beaches aren’t crowded with tourists, which makes them much more enjoyable. You should also visit La Alcazaba, an 11th century military fortress.
