Sudbury has beautiful scenery at every turn. When you are in Sudbury, if you take a peaceful 40-minute drive from downtown you will be able to reach Onaping Falls. This is definitely the place where you can relax, take your mind off of any stress, and take a multitude of pictures.
Seeing that you may spend just a few hours here, feel free to bring some food/snacks with you along the way. There are areas where you can setup for a picnic/quick lunch, and gaze at the beautiful lookouts.
Enjoy The Boardwalk
Understanding the local area may take a little bit of time. However, the best way to speed up this process is to hang out where the locals are. At the Boardwalk you are sure to see individuals skating, ice fishing (during the winter), and more. Depending upon the day, you may se a bit of a crowd along Ramsey Lake as well or a pretty mellow crowd. Nonetheless, there is always a since of comfort at the Boardwalk, all you have to do is find what is comfortable for you.
