Things to Do in Rancho Palos Verdes, California

Rancho Palos Verdes Things to Do

The Palos Verdes Peninsula is a picturesque region of Los Angeles that attracts many visitors. Tourists to the area will find many things to do and ways to spend the day.

Dipping in the Spas

The spas at Terranea make for a relaxing way to spend the day. Making reservations at the spa for at least a 60-minute treatment will give you access to the pool. There are other facilities on-site that include a café and a gym for guests. The Terranea site is quite spacious and has private lounge areas for local clients. There are also several other spas of this kind in the area.

Taking in the Coastline

There are some beautiful, natural beaches to find along Palos Verdes. With the exception of Abalone Cove, most of these beaches lack a life guard, so take precautions if you’re not a decent swimmer. Also, keep in mind that parking is not permitted along the drive. Instead, there is free parking near the Trump National. Abalone Cove has paid parking from eight in the morning until four in the afternoon on most days.

All of the coast along Palos Verdes and Palos Verdes Estates are open to the public. While many large homes dot the cliffs, there are ways around all of them. Some are great for surfing, diving, and spearfishing.
