This family fun activity is quite popular along the beach. While there are many street vendors who rent out four wheelers, it is suggested that you use one of the more established rental shops with posted prices. This is a great way to see more of the town and explore the seaside.
Malecon Plaza is a popular spot for people watching and having a stroll beside the Sea of Cortez before enjoying a hearty meal. This plaza was recently revamped to include statuary of local notables, and an upper and lower area for congregating along the beach. The plaza is expansive and has a lot of modern sculpture on the end bordering the beach. Children love to explore the sculptures and run between them as their parents look on from the main area of the plaza. This square is lined with souvenir shops, restaurants, and cafes, and provides an excellent meeting point.
