Murcia is an autonomous community in the country of Spain. The area is known for hot summers and mild winters which is one of the reasons it is such a popular tourist destination. There is a lot of things to do for tourists visiting Murcia.
The winding streets that make up the town centers are referred to as the traperia They are the home to various cultural monuments and an array of great shops. Go to the Cathedral to find their starting point.
Take a walk along the the Segura River that flows through the town, which was originally created as a means to prevent the river from overflowing and flooded the town around it.
The stadium of the local soccer team in Murcia is referred to as "La Condomina". If you want to catch a bullfight, that stadium is located right next door.
After a long day of sightseeing, take a break a PaseoGaray. The long promenade is located next to the river and has a beautiful park in it. This is a great place to take in some great views of the Segura River.
