Mandurah Ocean Marina and Port Bouvard
The Mandurah Marina is a complex complete with a boardwalk, hotel, and a massive indoor market with vendors selling food, clothing, shoes, leather, ceramics, and souvenirs. Not far away, is Port Bouvard. Here, dolphins are frequently found swimming the canals, hunting for fish. Both areas are great family friendly stops.
Mandurah Performing Arts Center
Although it’s not quite the Sydney Opera House, the Mandurah Performing Arts Center shouldn’t be overlooked. The center hosts live concerts, plays, and performances throughout the year. Fishing and Crabbing
Fishing and crabbing are popular activities in Mandurah. From January to April, the estuary is a prime area to catch blue swimmer crabs. Fish are also plentiful. The city set aside several Senior Fishing Platforms to provide the elderly with a safe spot to fish. Locals and tourists alike line the shores and sit for hours on chairs, drinking coffee, talking, and waiting for the fish to bite.
