See the Temple Via Helicopter Ride

Taking a helicopter ride to the Temple is something that locals and tourists embark on every day in Katra.  This trip is 2.5 kms from beginning to the Temple. Each ride is Rs.800 per person for one way (Rs.1600 round trip).

Essentially some people just take the helicopter one way for the experience and comes back via a horse or by walking. In order to be considered for this helicopter ride, it is recommended that you book one month in advance. This is due to its popularity and high demand.

It is important to realize that the passengers weight is taking before deciding each beginning trip. This check is simply for safety purposes and not to overload the helicopter with too many passengers at once.
