During your stay in Juan-les-Pins, there are many places to visit. You can enjoy the Promenade du Soleil, a boat trip to the Lerins Island, and the the Jardin Thuret. Of course, there are also the beaches.

Part of the reason people flock here is that the town’s beaches actually have sand, unlike many of the other resorts along the French Riviera, which have pebble beaches. Aside from its sandy beaches, the town offers a marina, a casino, several museums and a world-famous jazz festival.

Beaches

South of the main Juan le Pins beach, along the winding road to the cape, are many small sandy bays and beaches. These beaches allow you to escape from the traditional tourist area. Fragments of WWII fortifications remain in the water and form sheltered areas. The beach itself is sandy and favored by locals.

Of the two kilometers of the shoreline in the area, around two thirds are claimed by local businesses. It can be costly to visit, which may make it worth visiting less heavily crowded parts of the beach. Finding the less explored parts of the beach where locals prefer to gather is a good way to have an inexpensive day on the coast.
