The northernmost city in Norway, Honningsvag is the place to go if you love the crisp, cold weather. While small, the village offers restaurants with superb seafood, an authentic fishing village and shimmering lights that dance across the evening sky.
Honningsvag is an ideal place see the northern lights. These bands of light come alive in at night overhead all night long. If you're visiting during the winter months, it's dark nearly all year long. Head outside from October to March between six p.m. and one a.m. at night on a cloudless night without a full moon and look up.
