Ozark Mountains Provide Wonderful View

One of the best things to do in Eureka Springs is hike up to the Crescent Hotel and catch the view. There are trails that lead from downtown, up the hill, to the hotel. Once at the hotel, take the stairs at the end of the rear veranda, all the way to the top. This is best done at dusk so you can catch an amazing view of the mountains. Then, hike to a good restaurant in the valley to enjoy dinner.

Eureka Springs Offers Religious Experience

Eureka Springs is a destination for Christians and religious tourists. The Christ of the Ozarks monument is an inspiring religious icon. The monumental statue of Jesus Christ stands over 67 feet tall. It is visible from many points around Eureka Springs. You can visit the statue for free, but they ask for donations to help repair the landmark.

The Christ of the Ozarks landmark is located on Passion Play Road. This ties in with the “Passion Play” that runs mid-April through mid-October at the local theater. There are adjacent buildings for eating and gift shopping.

The Thorncrown Chapel located on the highway, is perfectly settled into the woods, which accentuates the beautiful architecture. It is extremely tranquil and relaxing sitting inside the building and looking up at the ceiling. There is no admission fee, but donations are accepted.

The Intrigue Theater is a must-see venue. The theater offers entertaining shows featuring illusions, showmanship, and entertaining banter. This show offers plenty of fun for your whole family.

The Lucky 7 Rooftop Bar & Billiards is a laid-back saloon is located on the top floor of Basin Park Hotel. The restaurant is only open at night, with pool tables, darts, shuffleboard, chess, a big-screen TV, and a bar. It’s a good place to have fun after visiting Eureka Springs during the day.
