Armacao de Pera Things to Do
Armacao de Pera is a parish located in Portugal. Despite having only a small population, there are a few things to do when visiting the region.
Any visit to Armacao De Pera will include a trip to the local beach, which is one of the longest in the Algarve. Scattered across the beaches are many loung chairs where you can relax and enjoy the day.
On the west side of the beach are many rocks to climb and caves to explore, though vacationers are warned to use caution. Still, for the most part, the beaches are appropriate for people of all ages.
The resort consists of a long strip and the old town nearby. Though there isn’t too much to do, the town is home to some shops, a few bars, and restaurants. There are also some ice cream parlors to visit when you want desert. The restaurants themselves start getting busy toward the evening, and it’s best not to arrive any later than seven at night. The old town actually gets quite busy after 11 P.M., when Portuguese tourists begin to come out. Some of the bars where they gather include Kippis Bar, the Fruit Bar, and Calixtos Club.
Visitors can also take off to one of the neighboring towns. Aqualand is a nearby waterpark that families can visit, and there’s also a Zoomarine aquatic life center.
