Shopping in Taragona is full of life. There is a huge central courtyard where vendors display their fruit and vegetables in amazingly colorful pyramids. In the side-galleries you can find stands with local wine (cava), fresh meat, all sorts of candies, leather bags, and milk products. You can walk around and take in the smells of all the fresh flowers and local produce. Some vendors wear traditional costumes which adds to the vibrancy of this magical place. There is even an entire fish market behind the major shopping building. Many of the fish are so fresh they’re still alive and flopping around!
Department Store Shopping in Tarragona
The only special thing about this department store is that it’s the only one in the whole town. So it’s the only choice for the tourists who don’t want to spend much time scouring the streets of the town in search of shops. You can find a few famous inexpensive brands like Zara, Mango, Massimo Dutti, Bershka and Stradivarius. It also has a cinema.
Parc Central Shopping in Taragona
Parc Central is a large shopping center with a supermarket (eroski). The complex also has shopping outlets, like Zara, Mango and The Body Shop. The items are much cheaper than in the west. There is also a cinema here.
