Southwest adds new routes

    Southwest, the nation's largest and oldest low-cost carrier, today

    announced

    fares and flights for its newest departure airport, Washington's Dulles International.

    Beginning October 5, Southwest will operate 12 daily nonstops from Dulles, including flights to Chicago (Midway), Las Vegas, Orlando, and Tampa. It will also offer service between Dulles and Denver, Ft. Lauderdale, and Los Angeles, among others. Prices for many of the routes will start at $79 one-way with a 14-day advance purchase.
