Centro Commerciale Belvedere Auchan Mellili

This out of town Centro Commerciale with a large car park and lots of shops has an Auchan hypermarket which sells food and drinks and just about everything else including phones, electrical goods, household goods. It sells all things Italian with a proportion of French foods as it is a French brand hypermarket.

Gelateria/Yogurteria Gelati Bianca is good for a treat after all that shopping on a hot day!

Sicilian Marzipan Fruits

Frutta Martorana (marzipan fruits) is a Sicilian speciality . A larger selection of marzipan fruits and jellied fruits is available at certain times of the year.

Diffusione Tessile

Diffusione Tessile outlets are discount quality clothing stores throughout Italy for Italian ladies fashion. At the last count there were 17 Italian Diffusione Tessile stores and they are extremely popular over here. This Fashion Outlet has now moved across the road to the building attached to Auchan superstore.

Diffusione Tessile is the outlet (without brand labelling) for MaxMara, Penny Black and Marella ladies clothes including coats, jackets, suits, sometimes wedding dresses, dresses, skirts, trousers, blouses, knitwear including cashmere, tops and scarves. You’ll find a selection of handbags, bags, shoes, lingerie and MaxMara fabric for dressmaking.

Kaleidos

This is a small shop and work place in the Via Cavour. The owner is very friendly but doesn’t speak English. They have a lovely square dish style with red and gold colours. There are also more traditional products, like tiles and the usual tourist stuff. On the left side of the shop is an overcrowded workspace (or rather, lack of workspace) with the oven. Lovely shop. Must visit.
