Sinai Odyssey

During Easter I have been on camping trip to explore Sinai with adventure company called Destination 31.

Sinai is very well know for its beautiful beaches and finding serenity. The trip took off from Cairo on road trip all way to Ras Mohamed where one gets to snorkel in its stunning unique sea life. The day ended by camping by the beach, a primitive life where one gets to hear nothing but nature sounds surrounded with a full sky full of stars. The following day we head to Dahab where you get to experience the local market products and meet some different diverse people, and maybe you bump into one of your friends as well :). Later on we went to Blue Hole the most famous diving spot over there, you have the time to snorkel/dive and chill with your friends. The most amazing part of the day is the hike from Blue Hole to Abou Galloum which is approximately an hour and 30 minutes. The hike is unbelievingly breath taking from the mountain views on your left and beach views on your right and not to mention the materials and rocks one see along the way you will never see something like it in any other place. The hike ends by the end of the beach where it is border with Saudi Arabia one gets to see their mountains. We camped by the beach which was extremely hot yet one enjoys sleeping in the open air enjoying such quietness. The sun definitely wakes anyone from deep sleep but you cant miss such sun rise by the beach and mountains surrounding you.

We took off 4X4 cars to drive all the way to Ras Shitan but we had to make one stop to swim in the Blue Lagoon where you get to swim in crystal blue water and you can even wind-surf. Then we headed to Ras Shitan which was approximately an hour. The weather may get really hot over there thats why one need to drink every while and then. Ras Shitan has lots of camps over the beach with huts, you get to stay in primitive accommodation yet get a hotel service, one gets so much relaxation over there. The last day is unforgettable place called Fjord Bay the most perfect blue beach you can swim in and just enjoy amazing view of mountains surrounding you.

I have to say Destination 31 was a great company to travel with very well organized and the people are just amazing, they know how make an adventure trip unforgettable 😉
