Sharjah is not your destination spot for nightlife and parties. Alcohol was banned from Sharjah in 1985, so if you´re looking for nightlife, it´s better to go to Dubai.
Visit Neighboring Dubai for nightlife
If you are in search of night clubs, Sharjah is not the place to find them. The Emiratis follow strict Muslim religious laws. The consumption of liquor is forbidden, with the consequence of jail if caught. Nightlife is not far away, however. Dubai is right next door and the expatriate population abounds in the nightclubs. The local residents/Emiratis are Muslim and Islamic Law prohibits them from consuming alcohol.
Lightening in Sharjah
If you take a stroll in the evening in Sharjah, you can enjoy the illuminated Corniche Mosque. If you happen to get fortunate enough to be there during a storm at night, the lightening over the Corniche Mosque in Sharjah is stunning.

One of the most beautiful and popular attractions in Sharjah is a romantic cruise on the old boat in Khalid Lagoon. This old-fashioned cruise is best enjoyed in the evening.
Al Majaz Waterfront
This is a popular and beautiful destination with a path that goes around the entire lake. Choose from a variety of restaurants, cafes and coffee shops and enjoy the colorful, dancing fountain every 30 minutes. Keep in mind, however, you will not find any restaurants to enjoy a cocktail as it is banned.
