The Christmas Store is located at Judengasse 10, A-5020 in Salzburg. You can find it at the end of Getriedegasse towards Mozartplatz. If you follow Getreidegasse to where it meets with Judengasse, you’ll see it on the left hand side next to the Hotel Altstadt. Either way, ask about this store and anyone in town will know what you’re talking about and can direct you to it. Christmas, Easter, spring, even Halloween, they are all represented. There are thousands of these hand-painted eggs, particularly Christmas ones, and each is uniquely decorated with different colors and patterns. They are extremely fragile but make great gifts. Take as many back as you can carry.

The prices for the items in general are more or less fair, depending on what you get. Overall, you can expect to pay a bit more, as it’s a tourist destination.
