Saint Petersburg Shopping

In addition to the  rich culture and history of the city, you will also find great shopping. Here is a guide to the best shopping in Saint Petersburg.

Bolshoy Gostiny Dvor

The largest and oldest department store in Saint Petersburg is Bolshoy Gostiny Dvor. The translation of Bolshoy Gostiny Dvor is “Guests’ Court” and inside you will find that it is set up like a Turkish bazaar. There are many different independent shops inside as well as a cafe bar. You will find souvenirs, music, cosmetics, shoes, and caviar on the first floor. On the second floor there are numerous designer boutiques and clothes. The shops are open from 10am to 10pm each day. This is a good place to purchase various products from clothes to postcards.

Passage Shopping Center

The Passage Shopping Center is the most elegant shopping center on Nevsky Prospect. It is located across from the Gostiny Dvor. Inside the shopping center there are two stories of upscale stores. This is a good place to purchase clothing as well as nice gifts. The prices of items vary and it is possible to find some good deals.

Grand Canyon Shopping Mall

The Grand Canyon Shopping Mall opened in 2006 and is the largest shopping mall in St. Petersburg.
