E.J’s Jazz Cafe
Individuals that enjoy laidback environments, E.J’s Jazz Cafe is the perfect venue for you. Locals and tourists enjoy their nights here listening to amazing local musicians and delicious food. This is a must-go to place during your trip in order to understand the local area. The club is open Tuesday through Saturday every week.
The dress code is smart casual, which means jeans/shorts, button down shirts, and dresses/skirts are all acceptable. No need to dress business formal, but business casual is completely fine.
Reno’s Riverfront Theatre
The Reno Riverfront Theatre is considered the community theater by locals. This venue provides amazing entertainment and will give you a great representation of the city. Admission fee is typically around $15-$20 and you may want to purchase tickets ahead of time.
The venue is a little small, but the perfect environment for an intimate setting. Feel free to go alone or take your significant other to this theater as a date.
