Raise a Glass to Earn Frequent-Flyer Miles

- 2,500 United MileagePlus miles after the first order
- 4,000 miles after the second order
- Seven miles per $1 spent on subsequent orders
- A $50 one-time United lounge pass after the third order
So, over the course of 12 months, you'd earn at least 12,800 miles (the bonuses for the first two months, plus seven miles per $1 spent on $90 assortments for the remaining 10 months), together with the $50 lounge pass.
Deal or No Deal
The $15-$20 price range of the Vinesse selections is slightly higher than what I consider the sweet spot for everyday-drinking wines. But if the wines are a bit better than what I normally get from my local purveyor for $10-$15 per bottle, I wouldn't be averse to a quality upgrade. It's still affordable. And the convenience of to-my-door shipping is worth something. In the end, it comes down to a question of the wine itself: Is it good enough to warrant the price premium?
Apparently anticipating just such a concern, the company promises "You can cancel with no hassles at any time."
That's no guarantee that you'll like the wines, of course. But at least there's no long-term commitment if you don't.
