Punta Cana Nightlife – Clubs, Bars & Nightlife Tips

Punta Cana Nightlife

Punta Cana is located at the eastern tip of the Dominican Republic and is a favorite tourist area for people looking for an active nightlife while on vacation. Here are some of the places you should know about as you head out on your vacation on this tropical island.

Imagine Nightclub

Imagine Nightclub is one of the best off-resort nightlife options in Punta Cana. The nightclub is located inside a cave and it’s only about a 15-30 minute ride from most resorts. There are four different caves and each has its own ambiance. The club regularly holds themed events, and you should check their website out for details by googling “Imagine Punta Cana”.

Imagine offers packages to tourists that include free drinks/open bar for one night until 4 am, one week’s worth free transportation to and from your hotel on their shuttle bus, and one week of free entry into the nightclub. You can purchase Imagine Packages via your tour operator or hotel tour representative.

Una Mas

If you want a nice place to chill out, have some drinks, and enjoy yourself without being rubbed up against by a bunch of sweaty people, then this is the place to go. Una Mas is located right across the street from the Bavaro Princess Hotel and Casino. The club is located on the second floor and you almost feel like your outside but you’re not. Even if you want to go somewhere crowded afterward, make sure you drink here first. The drink prices are much cheaper than anywhere else, so it’s a great place to start the night off. Una Mas has a very casual atmosphere and T-shirts and shorts are allowed.

This club is the largest and most Americanized club around and it is open to the general public 7 days a week from 10 pm until sunlight. The club is located in the Occidental Grand Flamenco Resort. There always seems to be plenty of people and good music. The Mangu has two floors. The main floor downstairs is used to play dance music like hip-hop, R&B, and DR, while the upstairs is used for playing trance, dance, and house music (weekends only).

The club is located in an old mansion that has been converted into a disco. The club is tastefully decorated and truly unique. They do not accept singles as it is only for couples. You will need to make a reservation to get inside. Music is not loud, so you can easily converse with other people. You should come prepared to take a dip in the club’s marvelous Jacuzzi with some very sexy people. Unlike many of the other clubs in Punta Cana, dressing up is very important here.

Hotel Disco

The inside of the Hotel Disco is built to make you feel like you are inside of an airplane, and it has an actual nose and cockpit built into the night club.
