  • Prague Shopping

  • Prague is both the capital and largest city in the Czech Republic. As one of the largest cities in the European Union, it is home to many stores where tourists can go shopping.

  • Gift Stores and Souvenirs

  • The Czech Republic is known for its glassware, and a good number of shops in Prague sell vases, art glass, crystal, drinking glasses, and more. These stores also sell lots of jewelry. There are many places around Prague where you can go shopping, particularly near Staromestske Nadrazi, which is a favorite shopping spot for tourists. Another place to visit is Carlos Bridge, which is a wide and permanent art gallery. Artists there paint in several styles, and the paintings can range in price. One market to visit if you are going to buy some souvenirs is the Havelska Market. If you're hungry, it has nice restaurants and cafes around it, and generally tends to attract a large number of visitors.

  • Food and Groceries

  • Sklizeno Foodie Market is a great little shop with many interesting foods to buy. They sell a huge selection of teas as well. There is also an outdoor market near the old town square that acts as a combination of a farmer's market and souvenir store. Dolls, puppets, toys, and jewelry are for sale alongside berries, fruits, vegetables, and flowers.
