There is not a lot of nightlife in Positano. Overall, it’s very quiet and peaceful at night, but there are a few good places to party.
This is an internet cafe by day and a fun place to party by night. It’s located in the center of town in what seems like a basement. Just follow the arrows on the ground to find it. Some nights they have live bands.
Bucca di Bacco
This is a restaurant by the beach. It’s one of the few places that stay open semi-late. You can eat on the patio close to the beach, and there is usually someone playing music.
Music On The Rocks
Music on the Rocks is the largest club in Positano and the place to go for dancing. It’s located on the south shore of the beach in a large, round building that is lit up all night long. The bar has an open-air quality – no windows, just open walls that look out over the sea – which is very inviting. Surrounding the dance floor are sofas and chairs for relaxing and checking out the scene. From the beach, you can hear the music playing all night long.
The downside is that the drinks are expensive – 10 euro for a beer. Later in the evening, there is a 10 euro cover charge. It’s worth it because the music is great, and the crowd is young and fun. They play the same mix of techno, hip-hop and popular club music as the clubs in the USA.
