Port Dickson Transportation
The coastal town of Port Dickson is a popular tourist destination for visitors to Malaysia. Visitors will find that transportation is best done by taxi or car.
Traveling to Port Dickson by Car
If you are coming from Kuala Lampur by car, there are two ways to reach Port Dickson. The first way is by using the Sungai Besi Highway. You’ll first travel to Seremban and then continue down Port Dickson Highway. This will also take you through Teluk Kemang and Lukut. As you continue down the highway, you’ll pass through Sepang, to Lukut, and finally to Port Dickson. However, even once you reach the area, there’s still further distance to travel before you reach the beaches. Travelers to Port Dickson can rent a car, which will make it easier to stop along the way and take in some of the beautiful, scenic views. If you’re worried about getting lost along this lengthy route, you can also take a bus that will take you all the way to town.
Traveling Around Port Dickson
When driving around, you’ll find that there’s not to much to do in Port Dickson. There’s lots of kampung houses, but no shopping centers or significant tourist attractions. Many people like to drive onto the beaches, but the soft sands might be an issue. It’s easy to get stuck if your vehicle isn’t suited to this type of surface. You can bring an off-road vehicle to safely navigate, and the beaches are also a popular place to drive ATVs.
