As America's birthplace, Philadelphia is ideal for celebrating America's birthday. The Sunoco Welcome America! Festival takes place the week leading up to the Fourth of July and features events that honor this nation's proud past and hopeful future, including the "ringing" of the typically silent Liberty Bell, a Welcome America Dreamland Carnival, a Taste of Philadelphia, and of course, a breathtaking fireworks show above the Boathouse Row and the Museum of Art.
