A Map & Guidebook
Getting excited for your trip to the City of Brotherly Love? Make the most out of your Philadelphia adventures and don't leave home without these essentials.
Philly's weather can be a bit wacky, so choosing what clothes to bring can be tricky. The fall and spring can be particularly variable when it comes to the weather -- one day you'll be comfortable in a tank top and shorts, the next it will be so cold and wet that you'll need a sweater, jacket, and umbrella. The summertime is pretty stable. Basically, it'll just be hot all the time, with the occasional cool evening. Winter is a toss up.
Clothes to Pack
Don't leave home without your favorite camera and equipment! This is a very photogenic city and you won't want to miss capturing the crowds, the historic sites in Old City and some of the architectural splendors, like the Philadelphia Museum of Art or the skyline from the West River Drive.
Electronics to Pack
Yes, a guide book will place a "Tourist Here!" sign over your head, but trust us, you're going to want one. There is so much to see in Philly and you don't want to miss anything. Having a guidebook will help you plan out your day's adventures, where to go and what to eat, and a map will make sure you arrive safely and on time.
