Osaka, Japan is a beautiful place to visit. You can make your trip better by packing the things you will need.
You'll need to pack plenty of clothing and shoes for your trip. Japan doesn't sell clothing in larger sizes, so you may not be able to purchase any clothing when you are there. You should keep in mind that Japan gets lots of rain in June and July, and pack rain gear if you will be there around that time. People in Japan have indoor shoes and outdoor shoes, so you may want to choose shoes that are easy to slip on and off.
Clothes to Pack
You'll want to bring your own toiletries and any medications you are taking. The deodorant and toothpaste are different in Japan, so you'll want to bring enough of these items to last you through your stay. Contraceptives have recently been legalized in Japan, but you will have a much easier time bringing your own. Pharmacists in Japan can usually help you if you need medication during your stay.
Toiletries to Pack
There are some food items that are either difficult to find or very expensive in Osaka. Ketchup, soda, cereal, oatmeal, and baked beans are all difficult to find, so if you can't live without these items, you may want to bring them with you.
Some items like cameras and other electronics are much cheaper in Osaka. You may want to leave some room in your luggage so you have room for items you purchase during your stay.
