Operetta is a gorgeous department store in whole Croatia. There are sculptures, ornaments and a ceiling with a mural. It’s situated in the heart of town, next to the Bristol hotel on MarshalaTita Street. There are a number of good brands designed by leading fashion houses. Of course it is a bit pricy; there won’t be any bargains here during busy season.
There are many vendors you can visit on the street. Women sell beautiful handmade items for a great deal. If you’re a sucker for hand stitching then look no further than the local vendors.
This expansive, marble shaped square is the central feature of Piran. There are amazing buildings surrounding it and other attractions are close by. There’s a monument celebrating GuiseppeTartinia, a famous violinist that lived 200 years ago.
This large square is surrounded by several palaces and City Hall can be located here. The only structures occupying space in the square are a statue and a fountain. It can take an hour to walk around it and see everything.
The castle overlooks the Gulf of Trieste and is situated in an exotic park. Exploring this beautiful castle is free of charge. It’s conveniently located close to the Piazza Oberdan. Here you can stroll through the large park and gardens surrounding the castle or visit the small harbor.
