Both Olden and Loen are on Route 60, which runs along E39 – a highway that runs along the western part of Norway. And you can find bus routes to Olden from any of the following locations: Bergen, Forde, Alesund, or Trondheim.

There are several glaciers that you can see around the area, and the one at Briksdal is the most famous in all of Norway. You can also see a series of waterfalls in various spots, which can also add to the scenery.

Air Transportation

The nearest airport from Olden is Sandane (SDN), which can be easily accessed from E39. And you should be able to get to Olden or any other part of West Norway via taxi or rental car. The airport flies Dash 8-100’s to and from Oslo, and they’re operated by the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
