Ways to Get Around
Also known as the City of Lights, NuwaraEliya, is a city in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. You’ll experience picturesque landscapes and extraordinary attractions when you come to this unique city.
Many of the tea plantations or factories are open to the public. There is usually a bar or shop next to them so you can sit down and have a cup. After your drink, you can buy a package of tea. There are many different types and quantities to choose from.
The Cargills Food City is a small supermarket with inexpensive goods. They sell a multitude of grocery and toiletry items that you can purchase during your stay.
You may want to hire a driver if you need to get from the airport to the metro station. The buses are usually extremely crowded and they only travel to most of the major towns. Once you get to NuwaraEliya, you may consider taking a Tuk Tuk, or auto rickshaw, to get around the city.
