Local favorites Gardens of Babylon, Ava and Zoe’s, and Moose Head Kettle Corn, are not to be missed. Not all vendors are there everyday, so call ahead if you want to visit a particular purveyor.
If you’re looking for an unusual way to spend a quiet and tranquil afternoon, a visit to the City Cemetery will fit the bill. This cemetery is renowned for the beautiful and artistic tombstones and markers. Plan on about 45 minutes to an hour, and enjoy exploring the history and beauty of an undiscovered side of Nashville.
Day Trip to Love Circle
Just outside the city, and in view of downtown Nashville, this mountain top spot is a popular picnic spot for many locals. Pack a light lunch and start climbing! The view of Nashville from the top of the hill is nothing less than stunning. It is perfect way to start a day of sightseeing, and get a sense of the city and its surrounding area. Early morning will be less crowded, but Love Circle is great to visit any time of day.
