Coupon Lawn analyzed Google Trend statistics on frequent searches around Valentine's Day to determine the most popular gifts for every state.

Some gift ideas were adorable, if potentially ill-advised (definitely don't get someone a puppy who isn't prepared for one). Many states kept it classic, looking for ideas for chocolate or romantic dinners. Others, like Connecticut, veered into dangerous territory with a yoga mat present.

For a creative idea that could make or break your relationship, look to Iowa, where people are searching for tandem bicycles. Alabama is equally inspired, with naming a star being a popular idea.

Some searches are definitely appropriate to the state—a weighted blanket sounds like a particularly appropriate gift for an Alaska winter.
