Morocco Nightlife – Clubs, Bars & Nightlife Tips

Morocco Nightlife

The nightlife in Morocco is different from what you’ll experience anywhere else. Instead of letting you dig for the best nightlife options, we’ve laid them out for you below.

Nightclubs

Yes, there are nightclubs in Morocco! In Agadir you’ll find a club called Flamingos which plays European and modern music. You can also check out Papagayo Nightclub, located in the Tikida Beach Hotel. Most of the clubs in Agadir are in hotels so look there if you’re having trouble finding one. If you find yourself in Marrakech head to Paradise at the Hotel Pullman Mansour Edhabi for one of the most popular party scenes in town. For more nightlife you can check out Casablanca. The hottest spot in Casablanca is Vanity. It’s pretty hard to find, but it is right near the Ain Diab district. Rick’s Bar at the Hotel Hyatt Regency in Casablanca is also fun with its Casablanca memorabilia and costumed staff.

Shows and Live Music

Hotels will host Moroccan folklore shows with dinner and you can find live music all over the country. Another good option is Cabarets, places where you can drink a beer while listening to live Moroccan music and watch some belly dancing. It is a good way to spend a few hours after dinner and they are usually open from about 8 pm to 2 am. If you’re on a tour you may be able to attend a “Funtasia” night where you’ll be surrounded by lavishly decorated tents, singing and dancing.

Although Morocco’s nightlife does not revolve around alcohol, there are still plenty of opportunities to dance and listen to live local music.
